wanderlust workshops

From portfolio building, to camera basics, with a good dose of writing and marketing thrown in, our rad workshops will cover a little bit of all of the things!

Wanderlust Aruba: Edicion Abandona

We’re back for round three!

During our last shootout in Aruba, I realized some of my most favorite places to create portraits on the island are all the abandoned buildings and ruins strewn all about. I’m talking 100-year-old cunucu farmhouses, full of old, colorful tiles, peeling paints in bright hues and shutter windows.
And those big structures, overgrown with cacti and Divi trees, both inside and out.
Goldmine ruins against the rough backdrop of the island’s North Coast.
And what about an entire small town left over from the heydays of the Lago Refinery? Complete with wild donkeys?
Basically, I take you around Aruba for two days, while we stop for a boatload of really amazing abandoned goodness, some super local lunch spots, and a rumshop or two for ice cold ‘refreshments’.
And you’ll be able to flex that creative muscle of yours, think outside the box, and make really stunning portfolio awesomesaucery! Showing off how these gorgeous beaches and sunsets over the Caribbean Sea aren’t the only beautiful landscapes islands like Aruba have to offer. And all the while immersing yourself in island vibes and culture like only the locals do. 🙂
Not only that, we’ll also be getting our own fancy on, and having our portraits taken by a dope local Aruban photographer!

What you need to bring:
• A passport!
• A camera would be nice, too. 😉
• A chill, island vibe – which means you get to relax, enjoy yourself and leave your worries back home for a few days!
• A fancy dress or outfit for some rad headshots, yay!
• Moolah for any and all shenanigans and food feasts you want to partake in outside of what’s included – Aruba accepts US currency. 🙂

Optional:
• Stay over Sunday and/or Monday afternoon (August 6th and/or 7th) – $70 per night
• Transportation to and from the airport – $30 per trip (both ways included)

We only have eight beds available, so if you are interested, claim your spot right now!
Te Aworo!

Cheers,
xo-LDee
