Wanderlust Aruba ~ Into the Aruban Jungle

Going back a second time with a group of amazingly talented photographers to my home base of Aruba was so much fun! I legit get super giddy being able to show off my beautiful island, past the stunning white beaches and blue water, deep into its diverse countryside.
While I had some wedding goodness planned for one of the shoots, I thought starting off the workshop (check out what they are all about HERE) with an out-of-the-box idea would be a great way to get our creative juices flowing, without the pressure of ‘getting THE shot’. So we picked up three stunning models, headed to what we call a ‘rooi’ in Papiamento (a natural ditch created by years and years of rainwater flowing off the island into the sea) and got to shooting.
There were no rules, no itinerary, if you had an idea, you just grabbed a model and went for it. Seeing everyone do their thing, getting different images from the same moment, and learning from each other was incredibly inspiring. We all vibed off of what the other was doing and it resulted in some really rad photos!

Here are my own favorite images from that warm and sunny magic hour, out in the Aruban ‘jungle’.
