Some Styled Studio Goodness
When the cold months come around, I need to surround myself with tons of inspiration and talent to make it through to the other, warmer side. Having our wonderful, cool new digs certainly helps in getting into the creative spirit, and so does having a TON of really skilled, brilliant friends who are amazing at their respective awesomesaucery. So, last weekend, a few of us got together to see what we could come up with.
No rules, no expectations, just a lot of laughs, a little bit of dancing, and of course, some wine. 😉
I went to visit the wonderful Jane from Just For You Floral at her space in Middlefield a few days prior, and saw this big candelabra I thought would look cool all decked out in greens, along with the dope cascading bouquet she created for the shoot. Zero flowers, only using greens you can find out and about on a hike!
Jessica, the delightful owner of Bliss Bridal, one of my favorite wedding gown boutiques in Connecticut, gave us a few stunning dresses to use. And with Gabby doing some really smashing makeup and Ana on hair (for which Jane made a fantastic floral wreath in about two-point-three seconds!), we were all set to create cool stuff. 🙂
Gabby and Astante, our gorgeous models, even braved the freezing cold (I believe it was minus eleventy billion degrees) for a quick couple of shots during magic hour. #warriors #winterishere
All in all, the day was so much fun, the photos came out beautifully, and I cannot wait to do this many more times!
Cheers,
xo-LDee
